What makes a great website?

A great website doesn't get in your customer's way, but provides a professional, attractive, and easy experience that directs customers towards making a purchase with ease. A great website is fast and reliable, and works well on mobile devices. Great sites rank well on search engines (SEO).

What types of content will your site have?

For example, most sites have some static content (e.g., an "About Us" page) and some dynamic content (e.g., product listings, inventory status).

Static content can be built quickly. Dynamic content will require a content management system -- whether that is from a third party, like Stripe (for products) or YouTube (for videos). Or, I can build your own admin portal, where you can manage any number of items and content types.

All of these things factor into the time it takes to build a site, and I can help you every step of the way.

2. Two or three static pages, like "About us", "Contact us", and "FAQs"
3. Dynamic content, such as a product listing, and product detail pages Once I understand these basic requirements, I can provide a time estimate and quote.

What features should your site have?

Special features can drastically impact the cost of the site. I will walk you through any special considerations and go over costs and options, as well as development timelines. A simple site can be built in a day, and it goes up from there.

Do you have a logo, or any graphic design elements you'd like to use?

I can also source a graphic designer, if needed. I do also provide my own graphic design, it just depends on the requirements of the project.
